Oy-vay!! Find I'm still not coming up with that gift tax dough. Am hoping I can squeeze it out gradually from the few hard-earned pennies I'll be getting from my moonlighting job - dishwasher at a local beanery - they really didn't want a senior citizen but I told them how I'd gotten this great gift from my poor old mother who is an even seniorer citizen and how she couldn't afford to pay the gift tax which I don't really understand why there is one anyhow 'cause why should you be charged for giving a gift? and how my wonderful thoughtful loving brother who has a dozen or more dependents offered to pay it for me and he's probably either losing interest on his savings or letting his kids starve I'm not sure which but either way it leaves me with the guilts and I just gotta work my knobby ole arthritic fingers to the bone to get that money before he gets either smart or uncharitable and charges me interest which could amount to 18% a year like some other creditors I couldn't mention and guess what. They hired me and if I can keep up with whatever the pace is I can move on up to bus-girl and right on thro waitress maybe even hostess and if I'm real good there's an eentsy teensy chance I could get to be bar-girl and wow that gets good tips and all the BEER you can hold so I'm looking forward to it like all get out & if you don't hear from for awhile you'll know I made the grade & have a seat of honor right under the Keg.
