Dear Frank: Enclosed, please find the final account of the expenses incurred for Mother's funeral. The only thing I don't have is a copy of the check paid to Ridge Chapel, by the bank in the amount of $4241.27 for Mom's C.D. - I trust George, (Ridge Chapel) and I'm sure there was no Hanky-Panky as far as the amount is concerned As a matter of fact he even sent a donation to B.R.A.V.O. in Mother's name. So, all in all, when the bills were paid, their was a remainder of $570.30. I was going to keep it all, but was afraid I'd get caught! Sooooo, divided 6 ways, please find a check in the amount of $95.05 for each of us. I spoke to the momument people & Mom's name should be inscribed by next week. As soon as I hear from them, I'll go out to the grave & check it out. I was there a few weeks ago and though the ground had sunken little, the grass had grown back & everything looked very nice. I suppose it will be a month of Sunday's before we all get together again! But it was good to see you all, even though it was a sad occasion. So till we meet again! I remail your Loving Brother Joe |
