Dear Frank & Anna:-

I enjoyed receiving your long newsy letter. I usually don't answer so promptly but the time is getting closer to our trip and at the last minute there will be a million things to do

Frank and Billie came out for my birthday in 83 but I haven't been back east since 1959 when we spent time with your Mom and we had such a good time. Jim joined us and we really had a gab fest.

This first quarter of this year has gone by so fast it really scares me.

First part of Dec and Jan were bad weather wise but nothing like you folks have had.

I had a  heavy cold all thru Jan until the middle of March. We have so much pollen in the air and I was or am allergic to one of them and as soon as I would go out I would tighten up and have no voice so I spent lots of time in the house.

Spent last week end up in Davis - Al's grandson had his 2nd birthday so we all went up and had a ball. Al and Verna are fine and busy at their jobs. Al will be 60 in Nov and Frank 81 on the same day-

It would be wonderful if we could get together and Jim being there would be great. Al & Verna are going to rent a car and tour the east coast as Verna has never been east. I'll stay with Frank & Billie. We leave here May 16 and leave for home on May 30th I'm enclosing Frank's address and phone number so you can get in touch.

Must run now and do some banking.
