Dear Dot,

I know you're anxious to have more word about Ireland. I don't have as much as I would like, but have enclosed a copy of the reply from the car rental (travel) agent at Eddis, Mr. Mannion.  I asked for a luggage rack on the rental car (50p. per day, max £7.50). I hope to be able to pay the auto rental bill by mid June, so as to save a few pounds (Irish "punt").

Recently I wrote to the travel rep. at Irish Music Club, Mr Lally. When we were trying to arrange reserv. we called the number in the Club bulletin. It turned out to be Round Tower Travel in Norwood, MA. They said they had space, but fare was up to $450 & departures were on Sunday, returning Sunday. After discussing it, Anna & I called Mr. Lally by phone 2/22. He said rates that day had just been reduced to $399, and spaces were available on PanAm leaving July 31 (Sat) and returning Aug 14 (Sat).

We sent deposit check to Lally, plus dues for you & us in Music Club. We've received confirmation of deposit from Round Tower, but no info on when remaining fare is due, or confirming the dates & fare. So this week I wrote to Mr. Lally, asking for some confirmation of dates and rate. I hope it's still $399 & not $460.

Thanks for your St. Pat's day card! It was lovely and, yes, it still does look like that in Ireland.
