Dear Frank -

Thank you so much for lending an ear! You were right I didn't sleep too well last night. I made a patrol of the neighborhood at 3:30 AM. Found out that there is very little activity in the area at that hour.

I made the decision and now I must live with it. Please God I made the correct decision. I still am a little astounded when I think that I now am the owner of 100 shares of AT&T.

Now for more serious discussion. You asked how the "doggy bag" of fried clams was. I popped them into the Toaster Oven last night and they were delicious. Wish I could send some out to Ballston Lake so that you could enjoy them again.

This week I have been getting my winter drapes ready to hang. They had to be shortened and my prowess with needle and thread leaves much to be desired but I'm trying so at least I should get an "A" for effort.

Next weekend is being reserved to work on my bedroom project. As I told you Michael has volunteered to help. The only problem will be in getting him to do things my way. He doesn't take too kindly to following my instructions. I'm great at giving orders!

Friday night is a night away from household chores. Bob and his wife (My Boss) have invited me to a performance of "The Nutcracker" by the Boston Ballet. The performance is being sponsored by the Lynn-Boston Chapter of Elfun. Have an idea that this is Bob's Christmas present to me!

Frank - I can't put into words just how much I enjoyed your visit and hope you will come back real soon. I promise I'll have beer on hand and not have to run to the neighbors to borrow. Normal people borrow cups of sugar or eggs but not me! Please keep in touch I've still got a lot to catch up on - we only just scratched the surface. I didn't get to find out what you were working on or enough about your travels abroad.

This you may not believe but it is now 2:30 am. Guess I'll take a hot shower and see if I can get a few hours sleep before the alarm goes off.
