Thought you might like to read and keep this letter I got from Daddy's first cousin Annie Murphy - I visit them every once in a while down near Xavarian High School - her husband Joe
came to Daddy's wake. A retired on disability fireman injured in a fire on a ship that burnt at a dock in N.Y. Young Gene Lovett was injured at the same fire (The Normandy] This Murphy he writes about is his wifes nephew - Joe & Annie have no children she hasn't been out of the house in almost 3 years - ulcerated legs - He takes care of her plus all the housework & cooking. They're always glad to see me (my gabbing I guess] They live at 88 Mac[K]ay Place. Hope you folks recuperated from your trip to the big city. R&R giving an encounter tonite (Sat] Had a letter from Vee - said Bob is talking of their flying to Bermuda Nov 1st for a vacation -
