1/30/70 Hi Frank and family Do hope all the Scotia Shieldses' are well - Seems there is an awful lot of colds and laryngitis around. Had Jeanne Pelletier and her room-mate here from last Sunday to Thu - then they left for an overnite stay at Red Hook and were to be back in Maine by today (Fri). They drove down but did their sightseeing via subway with little Joe as an escort - The Village - Bedlows Island Empire State - Cinerama etc. Her room mate is a Mainiac but way up on the boarder near New Brunswick - a very nice girl and I enjoyed having them. Played your Xmas tape and we also made two with Chief - playing his accordian. Gave them to Jeanne to take to Dot and she will send them on to you - told Dot she could keep the two of Chief - Some of his conversation is confused but at least its his voice - Jeanne kept asking him questions - One of his wrong answers wsaa that he attended Bay Ridge High (all girls) insisted the accordian was not his. He was at his best while they were here - now today all he has done is sleep - He's sleeping now and still not in P.J's. Nothing new and Thank God all are well. Want to drop a note to Jeanne and its after midnite. Love and prayers for all of you. Mom |
