Hi Gen

How have you been? Hope your fine and enjoying your visit with Frank & Anna. Been wondering how you and Pop are getting along? Maybe he's too old for you!!

We've all been pretty good. Ive had a bout with my back again for the last week and a half. All Ive done is go to work & come home & lie down. Ive been taking medication for the back spasms and yesterday seemed to be the turning point. Ive had no pills today and I feel fine. So keeping my fingers crossed that this is the end of it.

Hope you had a lovely Mothers day. I know Frank & Anna were taking you out to dinner so Im sure you enjoyed it. Live it up while you can Gen cause soon you'll be back here in dullsville. Chris & Kathy gave me flowers for Mothers day. Roses from Kathy and an old fashion boquet from Chris. Chris's card was cute. It was hugh and showed a little boy sitting on a chair with his teddy bear and it said. "Mom Theres something Ive always wondered about." If your such a good cook, how come we have to pray before we eat? Happy Mothers Day! Chris

Jeanne & Bennett came up to see Betty for Mothers day. We rode down to see Dot on Sat. night. She is fine and enjoying her retirement. Maureen is due to have her baby about May 17th.

Sunday is our 29th Anniversary. If my back is ok and the weather good I think we'll take a ride over to the mountains. It should be pretty this time of the year.

Kathy is going to her Prom on May 29th with Mark. Yesterday after work we went into Portland and then to the Maine Mall. She got a very pretty gown, kinda pale burgendy color. I was bone weary by the time I got home but she got everything she needed at once. A gown - bra - shoes - etc etc.

Next will be a dress for graduation. Chris seems to be doing much better in school and his English teacher thinks he may make it. Keep up those prayers for him.

Hope you got all the cards that I readdressed to you from Vee, Kathy Genthner, Loretta & Eddy.

Im hoping to get your curtains down on Sat. and get them washed. I washed your blankets and bed spread and hope to have your room all cleaned for when you come home. Your African violet on your desk & other plant is fine. I water it regularly for you.

Frisky spends her days in your room - I swear I think, she thinks your in bed.

Well Mom tomorrow is Wednesday and I have to be at work by 8:00 am. I still have to make lunches and take a shower so guess Ill be saying good night for now. Give our love to Frank & Anna and say hello to Pop. Hows your diet??
