My Dear Friends - I have had a fierce attack of what the Old Ladies call "Brown Kitties," and I'll say I spit-up at least on hundred - not tell Joe not to open his mouth at that; for it is so! Well Rock Glen people were worried over my absence, but it seemed trouble loomed up on every side after I left you, but I managed to escape with $2000.00 of the $250 I got for it and I guess I was lucky at that. Sometime I'll give you all the particulars. I am not feeling well, and just saying hellow! to you and thanking you all so much for your kindness to me. The eyes begin to ache. Kindest regards to all.
