Dear Mrs. Shields, Am wondering if you will please grant us a favor. We are all greatly worried about Dr. McGowan. He wrote to us that he would come home the 30th, and as that was the last day his ticket was good, and he didn't come, hasn't come yet, neither have we heard from him, and that is very unusual for him, so we can not help but wonder if he is sick, or what happened to him. If you will kindly send us a few lines in regard to his whereabouts I assure you I shall greatly appreciate same. Hoping you and your family are in the best of health, and enjoying this fine spring weather - I am very sincerely, Mrs Lena Appleby
